The Southern border of Bedfordshire lies only 30
miles from London, and acts as the gateway to both the Midlands
and East Anglia. The county is full of breathtaking natural beauty,
including some of the countries greatest stately homes, woodland,
nature reserves, and one of the worlds most famous animal parks.
One of Bedfordshire’s best features is its many small and
peaceful towns and villages waiting to be discovered, a world of
Antique shops, country pubs, open air markets, and public gardens.
The county is also a great place for exploring the countries heritage.
There are some stunning houses to see as well as other historical
places in Bedfordshire’s history such as Stevington Windmill
and The Swiss Garden, a picturesque early 19th Century ornamental
garden.

Well it would have to be near by Luton. It may be
a small scene, but it certainly is a vibrant one. There are two
pubs in particular, The Inkerman Arms and The Cooper Arms.
The Inkerman is the more the local pub, as the latter is located
fairly close to the station, so attracts a lot of people from out
of town as well. There are also several night clubs who regularly
stage special events and evenings.
