Cardiff is Europe's youngest Capital City, achieving it's status
in 1955, and although it has grown into one of the most vibrant
Cities it has not lost it's small town quality despite the cosmetic
changes to it's infrastructure.
The centre of Cardiff is surprisingly compact and most of it's
sights and attractions are only a short walk from one another, the
Museum, Civic Buildings and Castle can all be seen from the pedestrianised
shopping areas which has modern shopping malls interspersed with
beautifully kept Victorian Arcades.
One thing that Cardiff is not short of is bars and club with more
than more than 350 with more being added constantly. Around the
vicinity of St Mary St and infront of the castle you will find the
busiest and best bars and clubs with a good mix of the traditional
and contemporary.
