Once the home of Earls and Lords, Haigh Hall is the perfect venue for your special day. Set within 250 acres of beautiful Country Park and woodland, the Grade II listed Hall is a vantage point for spectacular views across the Douglas Valley to the Welsh Hills.

The majestic setting of Haigh Hall and feature rooms such as the Grand Ballroom and elegant Douglas Suite, make for a perfect venue for your celebration. A personal co-ordinator will assist you with making all of the necessary arrangements such as room planning, menu choice and timetables, and will be on hand to guide you through your special day. The location of Haigh Hall, its elegant interiors and stunning features, including the main staircase, make an ideal backdrop for striking photographs.

The Hall is completely accessible as modifications include a lift and automatic doors.

Located in the heart of the North West, Haigh Hall is only a few minutes drive away from the centre of Wigan and both the M61 and M6 motorway network.

Ceremony and Celebrations

At Haigh Hall you can expect fantastic food, beautiful surroundings and attentive staff on hand to ensure your special day is one you will always remember.

The Grand Ballroom is spacious and elegant and ideal for larger celebrations catering for between 60 and 250 guests. The Grand Ballroom and adjoining Cocktail Bar are licensed to hold your Civil Partnership.

The Douglas Suite, located on the upper floor of the Hall is a traditionally decorated Banqueting Suite and caters for between 40 and 150 guests. The Douglas Suite and Douglas Lounge (included in your hire) are both licensed to hold your Civil Partnership.

Haigh Hall hosts a Sunday Carvery between 1pm and 7pm.

Additional facilities at Haigh Hall include a 9 and 18-hole golf course and a full range of outdoor adventure activities from rock climbing and archery through to orienteering and organised walks – ideal for stag and hen days.
